AITP offers opportunities for Information Technology (IT) leadership and education through partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP provides quality IT related education, information on relevant IT issues and forums for networking with experienced peers and other IT professionals. The Southwest Missouri Chapter resides in Springfield, Missouri (MO) and offers IT professionals in the Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Branson, and surrounding areas opportunities to network and meet with other IT Professionals.

Message from the Chapter President
Welcome to the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Association of IT Professionals. It is my pleasure to serve as the President for our local chapter. We have seen significant growth in our chapter over the past 8 months and would like to continue to grow our chapter to 125 members by the end of 2010. As officers and board members our goal is to bring information technology related education and knowledge share to our organization and to help our community of IT professionals grow in their profession and personally. Our members are what make our group so strong. If at anytime you as a member or guest have a suggestion on how to improve our chapter please do not hesitate to share that information with one of our officers or directors. If you are interested in getting involved we have many committees that are looking for assistance. Our motto – No matter how sophisticated the network, it still takes people.
